This year is the 450th Anniversary of the birth of Claudio Monteverdi and to mark this, the Festival Choir & Orchestra will be joined by a fine line up of soloists to perform the motet Beatus Vir along with extracts from Monteverdi's most well known work, the Vespers of 1610. The concert will also feature Mozart’s much loved Solemn Vespers and the serenely beautiful Ave verum.
