The Leaves are Dancing & his arrangement of Rachmaninov Vocalise (premiere)
Royal Academy Harp Ensemble was formed in 1993 by Skaila Kanga to provide opportunities to play in a harp ‘orchestra’ and to perform newly commissioned works. Their success has included performances at Wigmore Hall, Mansion House, Senate House, King’s Place, St Martin in the Fields, St James Piccadilly, Southwark Cathedral, Bury St Edmunds Festival, Cardiff Millennium Centre, World Harp Congress Cardiff.
Our ensemble for this concert is drawn from both undergraduate and Masters students from Wales, Hong Kong, Scotland and USA. Individually they have all won prestigious prizes.
We are proud to present a world premiere of Vocalise arranged by Gavin Greenaway. We are also delighted to return to Pinner Music Festival.
