One of the few clarinettists to have established an international career as a soloist, Emma Johnson has performed throughout the world and is especially popular in Britain where her concerts regularly sell out and her discs appear in the classical CD charts.
Emma studied the clarinet from the age of nine. In 1984 she won the BBC Young Musician of the Year Competition. She studied Music and English at Cambridge University and was recently the first woman to be awarded an honorary fellowship at Pembroke College, Cambridge. Emma was awarded an MBE in 1996.
Emma Johnson plays over forty concertos, some of which were written especially for her, with the world's leading orchestras. She is also in demand as a recitalist and chamber musician.
A new development in Emma's career has seen her directing from the clarinet, as well as conducting the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Mozart Players.

John Lenehan is a British Classical pianist and composer, who has earned an international reputation for his work as soloist, accompanist and chamber musician. He has made over 60 CDs with British Orchestras and performed in major concert halls abroad. His compositions have been performed by James Galway, Nigel Kennedy, Tasmin Little and Julian Lloyd Webber.
